What I Am...what I think!
I'm angry. $*&!!@!!! We are right back where we started! Meredith chasing Derek who doesn't think he should be with her. But, at least maybe the wimpy man is gone...Finn. I predict lots of carnal happenings in empty hospital rooms while Derek tries to avoid an actual relationship with Meredith.
And, GO CALLIE!!! But, sadly, it will be a mistake and I am sure a hidden mistake at that -- if McSteamy actually went to her room. I gotta say, Callie is quickly emerging as one of my favorite cast members.
Poor Burke, he is trying so hard to be what Cristina wants him to be..the fantastic surgeon she fell for. Did she fall for the legend or the man? I think the legend. I can't decide if she is helping him to help him or to help herself rebuild the legend that she wants to be with. I think maybe she won't love him if he can't be the surgeon she fell for. Think back to those first episodes when she was fawning over him because of his reputation...she wants to be part of that glory. This story is definitely going to evolve more.
Probably one of my favorite parts of the show was the Meredith-morphine and Addison conversation. Addison was so honest and really not even angry with Meredith....but only because she knew Meredith wouldn't remember. Can you imagine having a totally honest conversation with someone without repercussions?

I think it was the best episode this season. The writing is top notch. There's a good mix of both funny and serious dialogue and the actors really get into their characters.
You shouldn't worry about Meredith and Derek. You know there has to be tension to keep the show going and if you think about real life, there's always drama when it comes to relationships. Even solid relationships are not easy. Both Derek and Meredith made tough decisions but the right ones. It doesn't mean they won't be together.
What makes this show so great is that it isn't catering to an audience that wants the perfect happy ending. If we wanted to see that, we'd watch some cheesy romance movie. This show is much smarter than that. Hope you don't let the tension in Mer's/Der's relationship turn you away from a show that offers much more than most of what's on tv these days.
This particular episode was strong because every story line mattered. Izzie meeting Denny's Dad was a huge and touching scene. Cristina realizing Burke's not well shows the struggle in their relationship and one that could help it grow stronger.
George opting to be with Izzie shows his devotion to a friend at the expense of a budding relationship. These are all difficult decisions to make and unfortunately, they're not always easy ones.

I can't wait for next week to see what Izzy decides to do with her new found wealth!

KUDOS to Dori... who predicted that Denny was leaving everything to Izzie. She's the winning crystal-ball-gazer of the week! And I'm with the rest of you guys - what is Izzie going to do with the dough? And I'm SO glad Meredith gave Finn the boot. I do wonder what happens with him, next, though... I think Johna predicted an Izzie hook-up.. maybe? And I'm SOOO glad Derek and Meredith are going to be an item again. It's going to be interesting to see how that takes shape, though. They are waaaay beyond the excitement of getting into a new relationship. They've both been hurt - loved and lost - and so... now what? I LOVED this episode.

I really like this episode! Callie did not surprise me in the end, it is so like her to do that! Mc Steamy surprised me though! Why her? I think Cristina fell for the man. When she cried and told him 'don't ever die' I strongly doubt she meant the legend. The fact that he is an amazing surgeon is a bonus, and he can teach her a lot. Plus, would she be risking her place in the program and her reputation for the legend? I think not! Meredith and Derek are being dragged out way too much! But I think she should have chosen Finn! I liked the Meredith - Addison scene! And Izzie, WOW! And THANK GOD Meredith wasn't pregnant!
