He faked his death and is alive and waiting for her on the "Lost" island.
I agree, he knew he was going to die and he is telling her all the things he never got to.... maybe he was rich & left everything to her.

Enough already with the Izzy/Denny story line. It was a bore last season and I was glad it was over (I thought). Now it is carrying on into the current season. I'm not sure I can handle another episode of this.
