My Bad
My bad, guys.
Looks like the dry spell will be longer than we thought. Seems GA/ABC have TWO MORE (geez Louise!) reruns scheduled for January 4th. I'm sorry. I'm working on getting the scoop. Check back with me.
In the meantime... I do have a little "news":
Kate Walsh ("Addison") said in a recent interview plastic surgery will NOT be an option for her. In an interview with "In Style" magazine, she said she's committed to avoiding anything "invasive like surgery."
Also... The actors/surgical interns of GA aren 't just OUR favorites. The stars were recently named the "top entertainers of 2006" by "Entertainment Weekly." The magazine also called the show a "phenomenon."
OH! And Katherine Heigl ("Izzie") is about to be married. She and singer Josh Kelley are planning a winter-themed wedding, apparently. Kelley popped the question in June and gave his betrothed a 3-carat pear-shaped diamond ring.
Stay tuned. I'm on a mission to find out WHAT'S GOING ON with our favorite show.

Withdrawls
I'm going through withdrawls.
I know some people may have missed an episode here or there, but not me.
And I'll bet -- if you're reading this -- not you, either.
I suppose we could scroll back down to the beginning of this season and revisit some of the comments now that we know how some of the storylines are playing out.
Nah....
January 4th. That's when the NEW shows begin.
January 4th. Hang in there.
Okay... So instead, I thought I'd dig around for some "Grey's Anatomy" news and compile it for you.
Here's what's shakin':
The BIGGEST news is that "Grey's Anatomy" grabbed Golden Globe nominations for Best Drama on television. (Okay.. say it with me... Uh... DUH!) It's up against Fox's "24", HBO's "Big Love" and ABC's other biggie "Lost".
Ellen Pompeo (Meredith) earned a nomination for Best Actress in a drama. Her competition includes Patricia Arquette of "Medium", Edie Falco of "The Sopranos", Evangeline Lilly of "Lost" and Kyra Sedgwick in "The Closer".
Patrick Dempsey (sigh... McDreamy) is up for Best Actor in a drama. He'll have to beat Michael C. Hall from "Dexter", Hugh Laurie from "House", Bill Paxton in "Big Love" and Kiefer Sutherland in "24".
Katherine Heigl ("Izzie") is nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a series, miniseries or movie. She is one of my favorites, and I truly believe she deserves to be recognized. I am a teeny bit surprised and disappointed that Miranda Bailey did not receive a nod, only because I think she is absolutely fantastic. As for Izzie, Heigl's competition is Emily Blunt in "Gideon's Daughter", Toni Collette in "Tsunami, The Aftermath", Sarah Paulson from "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip"; and Elizabeth Perkins in "Weeds."
Let's see... What else...

Don't Stand So Close to Me

Did you cry?
Didya?
Admit it.
You did.
Something in Thursday's episode, "Don't Stand So Close to Me," touched a nerve.
I know I felt it.
So... could you GUESS the recurring theme?
Anger. ANGER!
Everybody was so damn ANGRY.
But really, it was about Love and Forgiveness.
Donchathink?
That's what it spoke to me.
I believe Anger would not exist without Love.
They're polar opposites, those emotions. The thing is, without Love and Anger, you'd have Indifference, and who wants to be dead inside?
Love. Anger. Forgiveness.
The trilogy of Life, if you ask me.
The anger in this episode burned through to me.
