Ugh- I'm Drowning too
I am not really happy with this 3 show "story arc". I agree with Katharyn that this is feeling a lot like ER which I never liked.
Does anyone really believe that Meredith is going to die? Seriously? I can't even take it seriously. And if she does die, I would say I am pretty much done!
I did like seeing Denny back -- with rosy cheeks no less. If we can keep him here for a while that might not be bad. But, did anyone ever watch the Sopranos with Tony when he was shot and in a coma and experiencing all of this crazy retrospective of his life -- this feels a lot like that and I hated that too. Not to mention....Lost just did that with Desmond - but it DID work -- but that's another blog!
Izzie - I guess this was her chance to prove to herself that she can save someone since she is still recovering from Denny's death....and now she is off probation! "Rock Star." But, her speech on Meredith was a little too dramatic I thought....I beleive, I believe, I believe...yadda yadda yadda. Do people really speak this way? I think not. But, I might try it to see if I can rally any troops. Eat a tub of butter...whatever.
That little girl with Meredith is really creepy - not that she doesn't talk, but she just has a very blank stare......she's freaking me out!!! It's fairly obvious she is sort of representing some part of Meredith's psyche...but what part I am not sure.

So, here is my Izzie inspired speech:
I believe I will eat chocolate today, I believe I will drink a beer later, I believe I will believe in myself and you should believe in yourself too!! I believe that spending money is so much better than making it and....I believe that this show better go back to funny or I am going to lose it!! I believe I don't believe in ER and don't want this show to become it. And, I believe that love is all you really need....well, not really. And, I believe in ghosts, because God, you never know. DO YOU BELIEVE? :) J/K

glad meredith was saved, but please next time let it be the most irritating person on that show drown, IZZY. her self-rightous attitude, and inability to let george make his own dicisions is so obnoxious, and the rock star comment made me excited to see the spin off without her in it.
