I gotta say I am not that thrilled with the new Marlow character..while I realize he is here to provide the tension between Cristina and Burke, he is just too unattractive and old for the show. Okay, don't whack me now, but I just like the guys on the show to be young and well, McDreamy. But, I think that casting might just be the point: Cristina chooses her men based on their successes. Marlow was successful at the place she was in her life, then she moved on and now Burke is the successful man in her current situation. I have said before she loves the image, not the man, and now Burke is saying it too. I don't know if they are going to make it, but of course if they did, that story line would be done....and we don't want that!
Can I also say I am no longer a Callie fan -- she is driving me nuts - I would leave her fo' sho'! I'm not really surprised that George and Izzie ended up in bed together, although I didn't think George would cheat on her. Now all of Callie's jealousy and questions have been validated..so maybe she really isn't just a winer. I would have slapped the !@**! out of him for the comment on Izzie being a model so she wouldn't be interested in him....that was mean. And now we find out Callie is an "heiress"? That seems a little out of place considering she was living in the hospital before her move to the hotel....are we seeing future "daddy" issues with Callie as well?
I think Meredith should dump her dad - frankly he gives me the creeps. She should keep Mare Winningham as a mom and dump dad. Wasn't that awkward when her dad knew where to go in the house to fix the fuse?
I liked it - can't wait to see how Izzie will unwind herself from George now. Since that group is so great at keeping secrets it will be interesting how long it takes Callie to find out. Will George now be obsessed with Izzie like he was with Meredith? Will Burke dump Cristina for good..and she will go back to Marlow considering he might be Chief after all? This is gonna be good!

Nooooo! What a disappointing episode. I can say nearly nothing in the episode attracted me at all, with the exception of Meredith and her stepmother's relationship. I seriously want to see her and her dad patch things up. She deserves a family.

George + Izzie = BIG mistake!
Izzie is such a mess, I'm disappointed.
Def look forward to a better twist to the story in upcoming episodes.

Ewww! That's all I can say about Izzie and George sleeping together. I mean... it's like she slept with her BROTHER! Ick. I never bought into the whole Callie-and-George thing, so frankly, I'm hoping that's over.
I do love the added tension of the new chief candidate, and it does validate what we suspected about Cristina... that she may be brilliant and "all that" but she's not opposed to sleeping her way to the top. Okay - maybe there's REAL attraction there... to men in powerful positions - who can help her. But STILL! She's giving IT up for a LEG up!
I really, really want Meredith to have a family now. But then, if it were easy, it wouldn't be believable for Meredith, now would it? I mean, she's the victimized, vulnerable, stiff-upper-lip Meredith!
I am intrigued by the story setups established in this episode. I really hope I won't be led down a disappointing path.
Still - I honestly don't think anything can compare to the chemistry between Mere and Der in the first season.
Although.. I think the most interesting thing going on right now is Alex and the mystery preggo woman. I can't wait to see where that goes.

I can't believe George and Izzie slept together. It's disgusting. What a turn off. I'm really disappointed. He's married!! I feel sorry for Callie.

Well i think that george and izzie sleeping together is just disgusting!
i think that Der. and Mer. should be more like they did in the first season! there like ot even a couple any more! its annyoing!!
