The other Grey on Grey's Anatomy
Well, fear not Grey's fans... Season Four is officially in production. And now that we know that Dr. Burke is history, let's look toward the future, shall we? Enter... Lexie Grey. Meredith apparently has a younger, half-sister. (Do what?) And no, this isn't the one that had the baby, but we have met her already. Remember? Yes I know she was in the closing scene in the lockerroom with George, last season. Before that. She was the mystery woman that McDreamy flirted with in the bar, and later, he told Meredith that she did have something to worry about. You may have heard by now, Lexie is being played by Chyler Leigh. She's no stranger to TV. She had a recurring role on The Practice and the WB's 7th Heaven. She also starred in Reunion and Girls Club on Fox... that were quickly canceled. Let's see... what else. She's a native of North Carolina, and she's married (in real life) to actor Nathan West. The couple have two children, a son and a daughter. It's gonna be interesting...

I don't mind her being on the show. It might be nice for Meredith to meet and have a semi-normal relationship with a family member, but they'd better keep Lexie's relationship with Derek completely platonic! I wouldn't be able to stand to watch the show if Derek gets involved with Lexie romanticly!

I can't believe they're bringing Meredith's sister onto the show! Considering her relationship with Thatcher, I don't think that Meredith and Lexie will be very close. I already hate Lexie because she was flirting with Derek and now Meredith and Derek broke up! It's not Derek's fault though...it is completely Meredith's fault. I still don't think Derek should be with Lexie though! If he is I might have to stop watching the show. I am not looking forward to season 4... right now I am furious with almost all of the characters!

I agree, if Derek goes after the sister, I will no longer watch. It's supposed to be a fun season? Not with Derek standing by his "love" for Meredith. Can't anything be stable? No soap opera please!

i can't believe what shonda did in season three it was a DRAMA QUEEN season especially how meredith tried to commit suicide and then her mother death then her step mother death and her father slapping her and then how she was too close to fail the exams and what a great finale when she left Derek hanging out don't forget how he flirted with her little sis. the bottom line if there is no more DERMER am so seriously going to kiss the show goodbuy once and for all. I have enough drama in my life, it supposed to be fun. shame on you Shonda you broke our hearts.

Hi,
I am in London (UK) and love Grey's Anatomy. Sadly we are a season behind here.
The episode on tonight is when Meredith falls into the water. I guess she doesn't know how to swim so she practically drowns. In any case, if she does know how to swim and decides to commit suicide (as the scene implies) I don't buy it.
She is gorgeous, a smart doctor and dating the hottest man on the planet. She also has supportive friends. The only bummer is her father who abandoned her and her terrible mother. But, we all have had difficult pasts, and you get beyond it. Actually, I find Meredith to be quite irritating and annoyhing in general. nasal voice, mousey gestures and all.
I really like the model though. She can act and bring back Danny from the dead! He was grat too.

Hang in there, Salty! I think we're all with you - all a little sick of the dark and twisty Meredith and the dark and twisty themes that have been running through the show. We're looking forward to Season Four with high hopes. Cheers to you!

I think Derek is i jackass, because he flirted with Merediths sister. I think Meredith had enough problems in her life. It's not that I don't like Derek but I want him to be with Meredith, or else I'm going to stop watching the show!!! I hope they do something about Lexie cause I don't like her at all!!!Meredith äger!!!
