The Cat's Out of the Bag

Do you remember a line during the first episode of this season when Izzie mentioned that Alex "went on a road trip to see Ava" without her?
Mr. Defensive retorted, "I did not go to see Ava, and her name is Rebecca. And I didn't go to see her, I just drove in that direction."
We know Ava/Rebecca. We love Ava/Rebecca... Who could forget the horribly disfigured, pregnant, amnesiac from the ferry accident who turned out to be the gorgeous love of Alex's life... who (sadly) returned to her (loser) husband and baby's father... leaving Alex alone and heartbroken even though (I guess technically), Alex didn't fight for her.
(Deep breath...)
Anyway.
Hearing that in Episode One gave me hope it was a hint, but as days and episodes wore on I let go of the fantasy that Ava/Rebecca would return.
Well, well, WELL... Guess what?
TV Guide is getting blasted for revealing - right on the cover - that Ava/Rebecca is coming back to the show. Don't click on THIS LINK unless you want to see said cover. But I guess we've blown it now, too. Granted, if you're reading this blog, you want to know ALL THINGS Grey's. So I don't feel too bad. Plus, they were really the only other love-line I really felt a connection to besides MerDer. Alex deserves some happiness, dang it! But, I digress.
Elizabeth Reaser (seen here at right) is reprising her Emmy-nominated role. We're not exactly sure how many episodes she'll be in... We know she'll be in the one November 1st. We hear there will probably be more than one episode for her. That's promising... donchathink?
